Contact: Dr. Gregory Lecrivain, g.lecrivain@hzdr.de
Duration: 3.5 years
Starting date: as soon as possible
We are looking for a PhD candidate with an excellent degree in an engineering or natural science subject and very good knowledge in numerical and experimental fluid dynamics. Within the PhD project you shall:
- develop numerical simulation tools and models for aerosol dispersion scenarios in spaces with moving agents;
- develop multiphysics modelling approaches for analyses of aerosol filtering, as well as virus inactivation by UV radiation and heat;
- perform experimental validation in cooperation with project partners.
